Ambiguity

There are a scant few things in this world that are just what they are. A piece of paper, for example, could be so many things--a place to draw in, a place to write in, a processed tree, etc., etc.-- while just being a plain piece of paper. How much more complicated are these things...emotion, ambition, belief, reputation...that are so vague to begin with?

No wonder life is so complicated.
